My Group for the Final Task

Hello! Today my teachers introduced my peers and me to the final task project. My classmates and I were given the option to work individually, or in groups of two, three, or four people. After careful consideration, I chose to work in a group, rather than individually. After talking with some of my peers, I formed a group. My groupmates are Mela Holton and Lindsay White. I have worked with both of them before for previous projects. Therefore, I know that I work well with them on these types of projects. I also intended to work with another peer of mine who was part of my group for the last project. However, due to certain circumstances, she is not able to work with my group and has to work alone due to her busy schedule in the upcoming months. However, I am confident that Mela, Lindsay, and I will still work efficiently without our fourth leg.

While selecting my group, I carefully thought out all the details. For example, if I chose to work alone, I do not think my project would be as creative as it would be when working in a group. This is because by working with my peers, all of my groupmates can collaborate on our ideas, therefore causing the final video to be more creative. I have seen this in previous projects, not just involving media, but in everyday life. If I were to work individually, I have no doubt that my project would still be outstanding, however, I came to the conclusion that joining my peers would allow me to produce a video to the absolute best of my ability.

I also carefully thought out how my groupmates and I would use our individual skills to complete the project. For example, Lindsay is superb at filming and making sure to get all the proper angles and shots. Mela is excellent at editing involving the fonts and adding text to the film. Also, I can edit the actual clips of the video and how they appear on screen. I am excited about this new project and I am beyond ecstatic to be working with my groupmates again!
