How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?  The music video makes use of many conventions to effectively represent social groups. One of the most noticeable conventions is the sound. In the first scene of the video, the viewer can hear the ambient sound of the friend group conversing in the background.   Hello! My group concluded productions today! After many long days of hard work and dedication, I am pleased to see the video come together. First, my group went to my house to film the opening and closing scenes. Lindsay put together the photo book, so I gathered the props to be placed around it. I suggested using a makeup brush and a hair clip as props. While I set up the props, Kemora and Mela worked on the camera angle and setting up the tripod. Upon arriving at the coffee shop, I realized I had forgotten to grab the tripod for the camera. So, Lindsay and I quickly walked back to my house to get it and then made our way back to Starbucks. For this scene, each person was doing a different task. I was working on math homework, Mela was writing in a notebook, Lindsay was listening to music while writing, and Kemora was scrolling on her iPhone.
